A Development of Collaborative-Based Training Model via the Internet for Technical Teaching Management

Abstract


The purposes of this research were to develop a Collaborative-based Training Model via the Internet for Technical Teaching Management and to develop a Training Course for Preparing Collaborative-based Teaching Plan. The target groups in this study included teachers and students in the field of technical education under the office of the Vocational Education Commission. The developed collaborative-based training model was approved by the experts and the developed training program was validated by using CIPP Model. The results as follows. 1. The developed collaborative-based training model via the internet was a blended training model which included 2 parts: 1) Theory part that consist of 3 modules; Learning module, Evaluation module, and Supporting online collaborative module. And 2) Practical part that consist of 3 modules; Practice module, Evaluation module, and Supporting Face-to-Face collaborative module. This training model, on average, has an appropriateness scores at high level, ( Mean = 4.48), which was appropriated to be used for training. 2. It was found that the training course reached the efficiency index of 85.22/83.95 that is higher than the set criteria of 80/80. The trainees’ practice scores reached an average of 86.31% that is higher than the set criteria of 75%. And the trainees were satisfied with the training course at high level ( Mean = 4.38). The results of the follow up of product evaluation was that the evaluation by 5 teachers, who taught theory and practical parts, were 92.08 and 91.33 respectively. And 91 students were satisfied with the teachers at high level ( Mean = 4.32).
