The Development of a Mentor Assessment Model for Professional Experiences Training In the Field of Technician Industry

Abstract


The purpose of this research was to 1) Study the components of the mentor’s assessment for practicing teacher professional experiences. 2) Develop the mentor’s assessment model for practicing teacher professional experiences and 3) Assess the mentor’s assessment model for practicing teacher professional experiences. The simple random sampling of mentor’s assessment on professional experience in industrial technician schools of 295 mentors. From simple sampling by sample estimation using krejcie and Morgan. The purposive sampling of the mentor assessment component of 9 persons and the target group for the development of the assessment model of 10 persons and the target group for assessing mentor assessment model as the chief executives of 5 persons, mentors 5 persons and professional practice students 5 persons with in-depth interviews from experts to determine the assessment components of mentors, opinion survey the content validity evaluation form, the appropriateness evaluation form and the satisfaction assessment form were used, analyze the data by frequency Average value percentage and Exploratory Factor Analysis. The results revealed that the assessment components of the mentors for practicing teacher professional experience in industrial technician schools in 3 components. (1) Creating a learning plans, (2) Learning management and (3) Research for learners development. 2)The evaluation model, component 1, Knowledge Sharing with 5 activities indicating. component 2, evaluation after teaching professional experience has 2 activities indicating and component 3, follow-up of evaluation after professional experience ,there are 3 activities indicating effective and 3) mentor self-assessment. The most of them proceed according to all indicative activities. Students practice the professional experience of teachers and administrators; assess the duties of mentors as an excellence level in all aspects.
