Comparative Study on Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction of Financial and Accounting Officers in King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok and Suan Dusit University

Abstract


The purposes of this surveying research, entitled Comparative Study on Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction of Financial and Accounting Officers in King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok and Suan Dusit University had the objectives to make a comparative study of the factors affecting the job satisfaction in working of the financial and accounting officers in both universities. Ninety subjects were selected from Finance and Accounting Officers of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok and Suan Dusit University. Questionnaires were the tools used in this study for the motivation factors, the support factors that affected job satisfaction level. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, range of the total score and the relational statistic - Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and T-test. The analysis found that the relationship between motivation factors and job satisfaction of Financial and Accounting Officers in King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok and Suan Dusit University was at moderate level , the relationship between support factors and job satisfaction of Financial and Accounting Officers in King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok and Suan Dusit University was at low level The comparison of differences of motivation factors, support factors and job satisfaction between Financial and Accounting Officers in King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok with Financial and Accounting Officers in Suan Dusit University was different, at the statistical significance level 0.01.
