The Development of Training Course for Preparing Blended Learning Teaching Plan for Computer Curriculum Teacher

Abstract


The purpose of this research was to develop and evaluate a Training Course for Preparing Blended Learning Teaching Plan for Computer Curriculum Teacher. The target group in this study included teachers and students in the field of computer under the office of the Vocational Education Commission and the office of the Basic Education Commission. The developed training program was validated by CIPP Model of Daniel L Stufflebeam with the results as follows. 1) Context Evaluation: The researchers synthesized the related document and perform the tasks analysis. The result is the training curriculum should compose of 11 topics. 2) Input Evaluation: The specialists evaluated the congruence between topics and behavioral objectives, and the congruence between the behavioral objectives and the test. The evaluation results were 0.80-1.00 and 0.94-1.00 respectively. The research tools and the training program were tried out with the achievement average scores and the exercise average scores at 87.62 and 80.86 respectively. The practical average score was at 79.56 percent. Whilst the reliability of the test was 0.63 and the reliability of the questionnaire, for evaluation the trainee satisfaction was 0.90. 3) Process Evaluation : It was found that the training course reached the efficiency of 87.62/82.6 that higher than the set criteria at 80/80. The trainees practice scores reached an average of 94.44% that higher than the set criteria of 75%. And the trainees were satisfied with the training course at high level. 4) Product Evaluation : It was found that the evaluation average results of 4 teachers, who taught theory and practical parts, were 96.67 and 94.79 respectively. And 87 students from 4 schools were satisfied with the teachers at high level, mean = 4.15, 4.51, 4.64 and 4.37
