Abstract

The purposes of this study were to 1) investigate the problems and needs of attitudes toward working based on current situations of employees in their workplaces, 2) develop and validate the efficiency of the developed creative drama radio programs based on situational problems, 3) compare the attitudes before and after listening to the radio programs, 4) investigate the satisfactions of radio programs. The samples were 80 third-year students studied in the program of Educational Technology and Communication, second semester of academic year 2011, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. They were divided into two equal groups, 40 students for experimental group and 40 students for control group. Data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, t-test, and analysis of covariance (ANCOVAs) statistics. The findings indicated that the panel of experts accepted the attitudes toward working in the areas of royalty, relationship, and precision respectively. There was a significant difference at the level of .05 between the attitudes toward working before and after listening to the radio programs of the experimental group. The after listening scores were higher than before listening scores. The comparisons between the attitude scores of control group without listening to the radio programs and experimental group with listening to the radio programs by using analysis of covariance statistic (ANCOVAs) in which the pretest scores were used as covariates indicated that there was a significant difference at the level of .05. The experimental group with listening to the radio programs showed higher score than the control group. The experimental group rated the satisfactions of the radio programs at a “much” level. The developed radio programs were efficient for enhancing the attitudes toward working.
