Development of Cartoon Animation Lesson on a Tablet PC upon entrance Thai Reading and Writing for Primary students

Abstract


The objective of this research and development for; 1) to create animated cartoon lesson on tablet, 2) to evaluate the quality of animated cartoon on tablet, 3) to compare an achievement the pretest of students and test them when they have learned by use animated cartoon on tablet, 4) to compare reading skill of student both of before study a lesson and after study lesson by use animated cartoon on tablet, 5) to compare writing skill of students both of before study a lesson and after study lesson by use animated cartoon ontablet, 6) to study a student’s satisfaction when they learn an animated cartoon lesson on tablet. For example in this research, 30 students in grade 1 of Watuthaitharam school and the thing was used in this research such as an animated cartoon lesson on tablet, a document of evaluation lesson quality about content and technical, a study achievement document, a document of ability in reading, a document of ability in writing and a questionnaire of satisfaction. The statistic that used in research are the mean and standard deviation. From the result show an animated cartoon lesson on tablet consist of 6 contents and there are evaluate of the content and technical in good level. The students who have learned by an animated cartoon lesson on tablet there are higher an achievement of study when they have learned than before. The statistical significance at .05 level. The students who have learned by an animated cartoon lesson on tablet there are higher an achievement of writing when they have learned than before there are satisfy to use online animated cartoon lesson in high level.
