Web-Based Training on the Basic of Manufacturing Process Simulation Software for Undergraduate Students of Industrial Engineering Department\, King Mongkut\’s University of Technology North Bangkok

Abstract


The research objectives were to: 1) develop the web-based training on the Basic of Manufacturing Process Simulation Software for Undergraduate Students of Industrial Engineering Department, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok which based on the criterion of quality and efficiency at 85/85 2) study the student’s performance skills scores that learn through the web-based training and 3) study the students opinions on the web-based training. The participants were 30 undergraduate students of Industrial Engineering Department, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok who already passed the computer programming subject that using by simple random sampling Technique. The research instruments were: 1) the web-based training on the Basic of Manufacturing Process Simulation Software 2) the performance skill test 3) the performance skills evaluation form 4) the quality evaluation form and 5) the opinion’s questionnaires. Statistics were analyzed by percentage, mean and Standard Deviation. The research findings : 1) the web-based training on the Basic of Manufacturing Process Simulation Software achieved the criterion of quality in media production in excellent level with (Mean = 4.74), content in excellent level with (Mean = 4.88) and efficiency at 89.27/88.09 which is reached above criterion 85/85 2) the student’s performance skills score achieved a good level (Mean = 1.85) and 3) the student’s opinions on web-based training were at the highest level (Mean = 4.60
