Development of Documentary Digital Book on Earthquake for Prathomsuksa 6th Students

Abstract


The objectives of this research were 1) to develop a documentary digital book on Earthquake for Prathomsuksa 6 th students having quality and efficiency at 80/80 criteria; 2) to compare students’ pre-test score and learning achievement test score after studying with documentary digital book on Earthquake; 3) to compare student s’ pre- awareness score and post- awareness score toward the effects of earthquake after studying with documentary digital book on Earthquake, and 4) to study students’ satisfaction toward documentary digital book on Earthquake. The sample was 31 Prathomsuksa 6 th student at Tesaban 1 school (PhayaoPrachanukul) in first-semester of 2015 academic year. They were selected by using the cluster sampling method. The research tools were documentary digital book on earthquake, quality evaluation, learning achievement test, awareness test and satisfaction survey form. The statistical tools for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The results of this research were 1) the quality of content and media were at good level according to 80/80 criteria; 2) students’ learning achievement test score after studying with documentary digital book on Earthquake were significantly higher than the pre-test score at .05 level; 3) student s’ post- awareness score toward the effects of earthquake after studying with documentary digital book on Earthquake were significantly higher than the pre-awareness score at .05 level, and 4) students’ satisfaction toward documentary digital books on Earthquake were at the highest level (Mean = 4.53)
